As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Manuscript Preparation

Language

Accounting and Finance Studies publishes scientific manuscripts in good English (either American or British but not a mixture of them) or Bahasa. Authors who wish to use proofreading or editing services to improve their manuscripts may contact professional language service providers.

Accounting and Finance Studies author guidelines as follow;

  1. Manuscript’s length is about 4000-5000 words, typed in one-half spaced on A4-paper size or maximal 16 pages.
  2. Manuscript must include an 200 – 250 words in abstract and 3 – 5 keywords.
  3. Manuscript must be arranged as follows: Title, Name of Author, E-mail address, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Literature Review, Result, Discussion, Conclusion, References.
  4. Manuscript must be submitted in Microsoft Word or RTF.
  5. Manuscript references are preferably derived from the up-to-date references.
  6. The author’s resume should be submitted separately, consisting of at least full name, institutional address, phone number, areas of studies, and recent publications (if any).
  7. Accounting and Finance Studies use APA Style 6th edition (2010) as reference format writing. We suggest the use of a reference manager software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or Endnote at templating the citation style. APA Style may be click here,

Submission of Paper

All manuscripts should be submitted electronically through Accounting and Finance Studies Open Journal System that can be accessed at http://profesionalmudacendekia.com/index.php/jbmr/about/submissions. Authors are required to register prior to submission.

Processing and Submiting Charge

Accounting and Finance Studies AFS is an Open Access journal. Publishing and Submiting an article in Journal of Business and Management Review is 300.000 (IDR) For Indonesian Author and No charge for foreign author upon acceptance of the article for publication. 

Authorship

Authorship Changing

Before the accepted manuscript is published in an online issue, requests to add/remove/rearrange the author names must be sent by the corresponding author of the accepted manuscript to the Journal Manager and must include: (a) the reason of this changing (b) written confirmation (e-mail) from all authors that they agree with the changing. Please note that publication of the accepted manuscript in an online issue is suspended until authorship changing has been agreed. After the accepted manuscript is published in an online issue, requests for authorship changing will not be accepted.

Multiple Authorship

If requested, we can provide multiple first-authorship if more than one authors have contributed equally to a paper. In that case, a footnote will be added to the author names and an explanation will be given.
